Artist of

Waranyou Changpradit (b.1988) is an artist from Hatyai, Thailand and currently lives and works in Bangkok. His artwork illustrates various characters appeared in ideal space from many separated memories like collage and express as painting. Creation is referred to therapy of mental. He has won several awards in national art competitions, including the Silpa Bhirasri Gold Medal Award in the 29th Exhibition of Contemporary Art by Young Artists (2012), the 3rd Prize and Bronze Medal in mixed media section from the 59th National Exhibition of Art. Selected in numerous group exhibitions, such as “On Paper” by Tama Art University and Silpakorn University and SIAM APP at BACC (2012), workshop and exhibition in Los Angeles, USA by the Thai Youth Contemporary Art Program (2013). The 1st Solo Exhibition “Maiden Land” at People’s Gallery (2014). “Same – Different” at Yeo Workshop, Singapore (2015) and selected as live drawing performance artist for portrait of his majesty the late king Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of Young Thai Artist Awards 2016 By SCG foundation at The National Gallery Bangkok (2015), “The sacrifice of Phyachattan” Solo Performance by Pichet Klunchun, by making sculpture temporarily installed at Chang Theatre (2016). His work participated in group exhibition such as MOVE at Pensee Gallery, Japan and ORIGINS CHAOS with fascinating character artists at Kalwit Studio & Gallery (2017). Most recently, The 2st Solo Exhibition “#BORDERLAND” at People’s Gallery, Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (2018).
