About Self-Love series : I believe that instinctively everyone’s first love is self-love. However, as time passes, we gradually lose the love for ourselves. We start to hate our reflections in the mirror. We’re not satisfied with our self-image. This collection of paintings is to go back to love ourselves. To embrace our imperfections. To appreciate the dark side of our lives as much as the beautiful one.
Pang Torsuwan is a Bangkok-based artist. She used to work as a print designer and an owner of fashion accessories brand. Pang’s art is mainly influenced by women’s stories, femininity and fashion.
